セキュリティー・プラットフォームを共同開発

STBやDTVを含むデジタル家電、ネットワークおよびモバイル市場向けに新開発された
safe-SOC™ セキュリティー･プラットフォーム

米国カリフォルニア州マウンテンビュー ─ 2006年4月3日 ─ ミップス・テクノロジーズ（NASDAQ：MIPS、日本支社：東京都港区、支社長：中上 一史）およびエム・システムズ(NASDAQ: FLSH)は、本日、エム・システムズのmSafe™ セキュリティーIPとミップス･テクノロジーズの業界標準プロセッサ･アーキテクチャに基づく、Safe-SOC™ セキュリティー･プラットフォームを共同開発したことを発表しました。

両社は、セットトップ･ボックス(STB)やデジタルテレビ(DTV)、一般デジタル家電機器、またネットワークやモバイル市場に向け、相互技術を最適化して統合しました。今回発表されたSafe-SOCセキュリティー･プラットフォームは、エム・システムズの特許技術であるmSafe暗号化コアをミップス･テクノロジーズのすべてのCPUコア製品ラインと共に集積するもので、柔軟性に優れ、安定した検証済みのセキュリティー環境を実現します。現在、このプラットフォームの評価向けの早期アクセス･バージョンはすでに提供可能です。また、一般提供バージョンは2006年第3四半期に出荷が予定されています。
