ミップス･テクノロジーズは、新しいワールドワイド･セールス
担当副社長を発表

全北米セールス担当副社長は、
組み込み産業で培った専門知識やセールスでの功績を新しい役職で発揮

米国カリフォルニア州マウンテンビュー ─ 2005年11月7日 ─ ミップス・テクノロジーズ（NASDAQ：MIPS、日本支社：東京都港区、支社長：中上 一史）は、本日、Brad Holtzinger（ブラッド･ホルツィンガー）をワールドワイド･セールス担当副社長に任命したことを発表しました。就任前、ホルツィンガーは北米セールス担当の副社長であり、マーケティング担当副社長に新しく就任したJack Browne（ジャック･ブラウン）の後任となりました。

ホルツィンガーは、システム･ソリューション担当のディレクターとして2001年にミップス･テクノロジーズに入社しました。組み込み業界においては、セールス、マーケティングおよびエンジニアとして26年以上の経験を有しています。セールス部門配属後、最初の年にはミップス･テクノロジーズの「Salesman of the year」に選ばれました。また、北米担当のセールス副社長に就任後の最初の年には前年度を大幅に上回る業績を残しています。

ホルツィンガーのキャリアは1979年にモトローラ社入社から始まりました。当時、VMEボードの組み込み市場拡販に貢献した、“Motorola Computer Group”の最初のメンバーの一員でした。1991年にはForce Computersに入社し、組み込みシステム･ビジネス･ユニットを設立しています。更に、ザイリンクス、PMC-Sierraや富士通などの半導体メーカーの代理店に勤務し、各種半導体セールスで実績を積み上げてきました。

ホルツィンガーは、Purdue 大学でB.S.E.E. 学位を修得しています。
