ミップス・テクノロジーズは、2004年度第四四半期と年間の業績を発表

五期続けて増収

米国カリフォルニア州マウンテンビュー ─ 2004年7月22日 ─ミップス・テクノロジーズ（NASDAQ：MIPS、日本支社：東京都港区、支社長：中上 一史）は、本日、2004年6月30日に終了した第四四半期と年度の業績を発表しました。2004年度第四四半期の売上高は、昨年度と比べ45％の増収で、前期から継続して13％伸びる結果となりました。

2004年度第四四半期の売上高は前年度の同時期の980万ドルをはるかに上回る1,420万ドルでした。ロイヤリティでの収入は、650万ドルで、前年度同時期の370万ドルと比べ76％の増収となりました。契約金での売上は770万ドルで、前年度同時期の610万ドルと比べ26％の増収となりました。2004年度第四四半期の純利益は、前年度同時期の純損益が670万ドルだったのに比べ260万ドルとなりました。また、前年度同時期の1株あたりの純損益が0.17ドルだったのに比べ、税引後の1株あたりの純利益は0.06ドルとなりました。

2004年度の合計売上高は4,790万ドルで、前年度の同時期の3,910万ドルと比較した場合22％増収しています。ロイヤリティでの収入は、2,340万ドルで、前年度同時期の1,570万ドルと比べ49％の増収となりました。契約金での売上は2,440万ドルで、前年度同時期の2,340と比べ4％の増収となりました。2004年度の純損益は、前年度同時期の純損益が2,890万ドルだったのに比べ150万ドルとなりました。また、前年度同時期の1株あたりの純損益が0.73ドルだったのに比べ、税引後の1株あたりの純損益は0.04ドルとなりました。

「5期にわたって続いている業績の向上は、ロイヤリティと契約金の両方の伸びからなるものです。特に、ＩＰＯ後の契約によるロイヤリティが全体の半分以上を占める結果となりました。また、本年度第二四半期から続く収益率により、現金の残高が9,000万ドルまで回復しました。」
